Representing South Africa on the world's biggest dance stage
In July 2024 (1-13 July), I competed at the Dance World Cup, one of the most prestigious international dance competitions, with participants from over 51 countries worldwide.
Our group won 1st place in the Amateur Street Dance category, marking a historic achievement for South African dance. Personally, I earned one gold medal and one silver medal, pushing my limits and showcasing the talent and dedication we bring from Johannesburg to the global stage.
The competition was incredibly challenging but equally rewarding. Every performance taught me about resilience, teamwork, and the power of representing your country through art.
Today, our studio is recognized as a 5-star dance studio in South Africa, and this achievement solidifies our place as one of the nation's premier dance institutions.
